Auction rules
Starting bid
Each spot has its own starting price. Center starts at $50. The first bidder pays that starting price in full.
Outbids
To take a spot someone already holds, you must bid at least 20% more than the current bid. If it is $100, the next bid is $120. Then $144, and so on. The live page always shows the minimum next bid.
Auction end time
Each spot has its own countdown. The server clock is the source of truth. The number on your phone is just a preview.
Anti-sniping extension
If a valid bid arrives in the final 2 minutes, the auction extends by 2 minutes. These values can change.
100% payment
A bid is not active until you pay 100% of that bid through Dodo Payments. There is no 20% deposit and no later invoice. If you are outbid, that payment is refunded by default.
If you win
The spot is yours. You already paid in full when you placed the bid. Nothing extra is charged.
Logo approval
Logos are reviewed before they appear on the public shirt. PNG, JPG, and WebP only. I can reject anything illegal, hateful, pornographic, or that I simply don't want printed on my body.
Prohibited content
No scams, hate, porn, violence, or anything that would get me kicked out of a café. When in doubt, email first.
Refunds / cancellations
Placing a bid requires 100% of that bid through Dodo Payments. If you are outbid, that payment is refunded by default. This is a small project, not a bank.
If a logo is rejected
The spot can be reopened. I may offer it to the next highest bidder, or start a new auction. Outbid payments are still refunded.
Right to reject
I can refuse a logo or a bidder if it would make the shirt worse, illegal, or just a bad idea. You'll get a reason. It won't be a novel.
